Things I have heard in meeting with a number of folks about the homeless retreat idea.
How do measure success?
Be patient!
Housing first!
Homeless are not a subgroup, they are people who are homeless!
Being homeless can be toxic and addictive because you have no responsibilities at all!
People who are homeless have physical needs, but how are their spiritual needs being met?
What good does it do to meet the physical needs, if they die not knowing Jesus!
