Let's Just Throw Them In Jail

Below is an article I read the other day. 

You can look at it from two perspectives. Financial and Humanity

Financially speaking the Miami city commissioner doesn't realize (or maybe he does) this measure will cost the city more.

It has been shown over and over again that housing a person costs less than allowing a person to live on the streets.

When you add up the expense of incarceration along with medical cost and other services that cost far outweighs the cost of providing housing.

From the Humanity perspective it would appear from the article that the commissioner does not see these people as people, but as criminals or worse, as less than human.
