My heart aches!

Some times the reality of this world we live in really hurts.

Last week a good friend of mine went off the wagon and has been missing ever since.

This morning I ran into another friend who is homeless. She came to me in tears as she explained that she was in a bad relationship.

I looked into her face and saw what might have been bruising?

She inquired about the need for housing.

She wouldn't go into with me on the street as she suddenly left and said goodbye.

I sensed that she was afraid!

Not even a minute later her man came riding down the street on a bicycle. He said it was time to go to work.

I can only imagine what the real circumstances might be.

I hate to think the worse, but sometimes the reality of the situation is not a pretty picture.

Then a few minutes later I ran into a teenage girl I know who is trying to make it in this world under VERY difficult circumstances.

It breaks my heart to see a child suffer because of circumstances out of her control.

My prayer walks are not always happy ones, but ones that break my heart.

I believe it is intentional so that I will stay motivated to continue to do the work at hand.

I think God was speaking to me when I ran across this piece of trash in the street.

It was the first time in close to four years that I have ever picked up one of these in the streets.

Run over and beaten up, but still motivated!

Pray for the people in this community!
